INTRODUCTION
There are 500 verses in the Old Testament and one in every 25 in the New Testament that prophesy that Jesus Christ is coming back.

Satan Is Bound

Revelation 20:1-3 (NASB)

Four Different Names Give To Satan:

The Dragon: 12 times he is referred as the Dragon in Revelation. re: ferociousness and cruelty

The Serpent: Refers to his presence in the garden of eden

The Devil: It means slanderer and malicious gossip

Satan: Adversary, one who opposes Christ

The Angel is not mentioned by name in the text. How impressively powerful is he who lays hands on Satan. God Himself could have given this angel the power an authority (The KEY) to bound Satan (The Chain) and throw him into the abyss.

Saints Are Being Empowered

Who Will Rule?

1. The Old Testament Saints: Daniel 7:27

2. The Apostles of Jesus: Matthew 19:28

3. The Believers During The Church Age: 2 Timothy 2:11-13

4. The Believers Who Dies During The Tribulation Period: Revelation 20:4-5 (See Above)

What Is The First Resurrection?

In John’s mind there are TWO resurrections. The first one are all the believers who worship and serve the Lord. This includes all saints raised when Jesus was resurrected, saints who died before the rapture of the church, saints raptured up, and saints who refused to take the mark of the beast in the tribulation.

The second resurrection will be when all the unsaved believers will resurrected and stand before the Lord at their judgment. Which will happen after the 1,000 year reign of Christ.

How Will Glorified Believers Be Able To Interact With Non glorified people on earth? Don’t forget, Jesus, after His resurrection he cooked and ate fish with his disciples on the beach.

Satan Is Released

Revelation 20:7-10

Why Is Satan Released? How can a rebellion happen in such a peaceful environment?

There will be people who enter the 1000 year reign of Jesus who have children. These children still have freedom of choice. Some will choose to rebel against Christ and His authority. They will still have a sinful nature. This brief rebellion will be further proof that human nature is evil and sinful.

Christ will rule with an iron rod, meaning He will not permit injustice or sin.

Jerusalem will be the center of the kingdom (Is. 2:1-4)

The Disciples will rule with Him (Matt. 19:28)

Israel will be in its land sharing the glory of Christ, its rightful King.

The Saints will reign as kings and priest, and will serve Christ in various responsibilities during the Kingdom Age (Matthew 25:14-30 and Luke 19:11-27)

There will be peace on earth with man and animals (Is. 11:7-9 and 54:13-14)

Each person will be suited to his or her best job, in perfect efficiency and joy will fill the earth.

Humans will still be humans and their nature will still have effect. From a distance all will seem to submit to Christ, but some in their hearts will disobey.

When you come to this point in human history, God give humanity every possible situation to see that they are sinners and need a Savior. When we are left to our own nature, we sin and fall short. We need Jesus.
