But as we'll uncover in this episode, their path was far from easy. DAC- Unrest in Urban America: Remembering the 1967 Minneapolis Riots
In the scorching heat of the summer of 1967, a wave of unrest swept across cities in the United States, leaving a trail of destruction and division. Among the 159 riots that erupted during this turbulent period, one of the most notable took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on July 20th.
North Minneapolis, known for its diverse Jewish and African American communities, became the epicenter of widespread violence. The catalyst for the unrest varied, with reports ranging from a police mishandling of a teen dispute over a wig to allegations of a premeditated plot orchestrated by Black Panther leader Stokely Carmichael. Regardless of its origins, the tension simmering beneath the surface exploded into chaos.
Rock and bottle-throwing at law enforcement officers became a common sight, and fires ravaged businesses along Plymouth Avenue, leaving behind a landscape of devastation. The community, already grappling with systemic inequalities and racial tensions, found itself in the throes of turmoil,
As the situation escalated, Arthur Naftalin, the mayor of Minneapolis, turned to Governor Harold LeVander for assistance. The Minnesota National Guard was deployed to restore order, but the violence persisted for three days. In the aftermath, 26 arrests were made, and 24 individuals were injured. Remarkably, there were no fatalities, but the toll on the community was profound.
Public and private property suffered extensive damage, with the cost estimated at a staggering $4.2 million. The scars left by the riots would linger for years, serving as a stark reminder of the deep-seated issues of inequality and injustice that plagued urban America.
For conservative voices in the urban landscape, the events of 1967 serve as a cautionary tale about the dangers of unchecked unrest and the importance of upholding law and order. It's a reminder that while grievances may be legitimate, resorting to violence only exacerbates the underlying problems and undermines the fabric of society.
In reflecting on the Minneapolis riots of 1967, it's essential to acknowledge the complex factors at play and strive for a more nuanced understanding of history. By examining the root causes of unrest and working towards constructive solutions, we can move towards a future where all communities have the opportunity to thrive.
As we navigate the challenges of our time, let us heed the lessons of the past and strive to build a more just and equitable society for generations to come.

DAC- Unraveling Corruption: From Dolton Drama to Trump's Legal Saga
In the small village of Dolton, Illinois, municipal meetings have evolved into regular spectacles under the leadership of Mayor Tiffany Henyard. What should have been routine gatherings to discuss matters like unpaid bills and payroll have transformed into battlegrounds of discontent.
Residents, increasingly frustrated with the lack of transparency and accountability in their local government, arrive early to find themselves met with unexpected obstacles. They navigate blockaded streets and security screenings, only to be met with closed doors and limited access to the public meetings they are entitled to attend.
As the clock ticks past the scheduled start time, tensions rise outside Dolton Village Hall. Residents clamor against the double doors, demanding entry, while village officials, guarded by police officers, struggle to maintain order. Inside, Mayor Henyard and the village trustees face off in a tense atmosphere fraught with accusations and animosity. Trustees accuse Henyard of financial mismanagement, vendor neglect, and personal profiteering, while Henyard defends her actions and authority.
The animosity between Mayor Henyard and the trustees reached a boiling point when the board voted to request a federal investigation into her conduct. However, Henyard swiftly vetoed the request, further exacerbating the rift within the village leadership. Residents, caught in the crossfire of political turmoil, voice their frustrations, demanding accountability and an end to the chaos.
Amidst the local drama in Dolton, a parallel saga unfolds on a national stage as former President Donald Trump navigates a labyrinth of legal challenges. Trump's legal troubles stem from allegations of fraudulent financial practices, including inflating his net worth to secure better loan and insurance terms. A civil fraud case in New York finds Trump liable for manipulating property values over a decade, leading to a judgment against him.
To avoid asset seizures by state authorities, Trump posts a staggering $175 million bond, temporarily shielding his properties from legal repercussions. However, this maneuver does not absolve him of the accusations of wrongdoing. Trump faces a litany of legal battles, including a criminal trial in New York and multiple cases related to his attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.
The complexities of Trump's legal entanglements underscore the broader issue of corruption within the political landscape. Whether in local governance or national leadership, the pursuit of power and profit often eclipses the interests of the constituents. The Dolton debacle and Trump's legal saga serve as poignant reminders of the pervasive nature of corruption, transcending party lines and geographic boundaries.
As citizens, it is crucial to remain vigilant against corruption and hold our elected officials accountable for their actions. Transparency, integrity, and ethical conduct must be upheld at all levels of government to ensure the trust and well-being of the communities they serve.
Join us on Da Urban Conservative as we dissect the intricacies of corruption in both political parties, unraveling the threads of deceit and deception that threaten the fabric of our democracy. Through informed discourse and unwavering scrutiny, we aim to shine a light on the dark corners of corruption and pave the way for a more just and equitable society.

DAC-Containers of Change: How Targeted Advertising Reshaped Blacks in The 50's PART 2
Welcome back, listeners, to another episode of Da Urban Conservative podcast, where we tackle the issues that matter most to our community with a fresh perspective. Today, we're diving into a fascinating topic: the intersection of advertising, business, and societal change in the 1950s.Now, when we think about the 1950s, many of us conjure up images of post-war prosperity and the rise of suburbia.
But there's a lesser-known aspect of that era that's equally important: the emergence of targeted advertising towards African Americans.
You see, during the 1950s, something significant was happening in the business world: containerization.
This innovation revolutionized the way goods were transported, making shipping more efficient and cost-effective.
And with this change came a shift in how businesses approached marketing.Suddenly, companies realized the power of reaching out to new markets, including African American consumers.
They saw the potential for increased profits by tapping into this demographic, and thus began a concerted effort to tailor their advertising campaigns to appeal to black audiences. It's interesting to note the timing here.
Just as containerization was reshaping the nation's economy, advertisers were also reshaping their strategies to reflect the changing demographics of American society.
But this isn't just about marketing tactics; it's about the broader implications of this shift. By specifically targeting African American consumers, businesses were acknowledging the growing influence and purchasing power of the black community.
It was a recognition of their importance as consumers and their rightful place in the American marketplace. Of course, this raises some important questions. Was this shift driven purely by profit motives, or was there a genuine desire to engage with and uplift African American communities? And how did this targeted advertising impact perceptions of race and consumerism during a time of significant social change?
These are complex issues that deserve careful consideration, and they continue to resonate today as we navigate questions of representation, equity, and economic empowerment.
So, as we reflect on the significance of containerization and targeted advertising in the 1950s, let's also keep in mind the broader implications for our community and society as a whole. Thanks for tuning in to this episode of Da Urban Conservative podcast. Stay tuned for more thought-provoking discussions, and as always, keep it real.

DAC-A Critical Analysis of Politicians Failure to Engage Voters of Color
We embark on a journey to uncover the intricate web of deception woven by the Democratic Party as they attempt to woo voters of color. With a staggering $35 million campaign dubbed "P.O.W.E.R. The People," the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has unveiled their latest tactic, purportedly aimed at persuading and mobilizing voters of color. But beneath the veneer of inclusivity lies a deeper truth: the Democratic Party's failure to authentically engage with and address the concerns of voters of color.
We delve into recent polls revealing a concerning trend: eroding support for President Biden among Black voters. Despite securing victory in part due to the support of voters of color, President Biden's failure to deliver tangible results has led to a growing disillusionment within these communities. From promises of change to the reality of stagnant inequality, the Democratic Party's rhetoric has fallen short of meaningful action.
Drawing parallels to the impassioned rhetoric of leaders like Malcolm X, we confront the uncomfortable truth that the Democratic Party's tactics often amount to little more than pandering and token gestures. As we dissect the disconnect between their promises and their actions, we challenge viewers to demand more from their elected representatives.
Through archival footage and impassioned commentary, we highlight the urgent need for genuine engagement and meaningful change. DAC- Unconstitutional Voting Restrictions: Disenfranchising Black Americans
In this thought-provoking video, we delve into the complex and contentious issue of unconstitutional voting restrictions, particularly as they pertain to disenfranchising Black Americans across the United States. With a comprehensive analysis of the legal landscape and the socio-political ramifications, we aim to shed light on the systemic barriers that hinder democratic participation and perpetuate inequality within our communities.
At the heart of the matter lies the stark reality that in all but two states, citizens convicted of a felony face some form of restriction on their right to vote. This disparity in voting rights restoration policies has profound implications for the Black community, as we are disproportionately represented in the criminal justice system. As a result, a significant number of Black individuals find themselves disenfranchised, unable to exercise their fundamental right to participate in the democratic process.
We begin by examining the varying degrees of voting rights restoration across different states. In states like Maine and Vermont, voting rights are retained even while incarcerated for a felony conviction, reflecting a more progressive approach to criminal justice reform. However, in the majority of states, the picture is far less promising. Many states only restore voting rights automatically upon release from prison, while others require completion of parole or probation, further prolonging the disenfranchisement of formerly incarcerated individuals.
What's particularly alarming is the fact that these restrictions disproportionately impact Black Americans. Despite making up a smaller percentage of the overall population, Black individuals are overrepresented in the prison system, exacerbating the impact of these policies on our community. This systemic disenfranchisement not only undermines the principles of equality and justice but also perpetuates cycles of marginalization and exclusion.
Moreover, these restrictions are fundamentally unconstitutional. The 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees equal protection under the law, yet denying individuals the right to vote based on their criminal record constitutes a clear violation of this fundamental principle. By perpetuating the disenfranchisement of Black Americans, these laws not only undermine our democracy but also perpetuate systemic injustices that have plagued our society for far too long.
But amidst the challenges, there is hope. Through education, advocacy, and grassroots mobilization, we have the power to effect change and dismantle these unjust voting restrictions. By raising awareness about the issue, engaging in meaningful dialogue, and advocating for legislative reforms, we can work towards a future where every voice is heard and every vote counts.
In conclusion, "Unconstitutional Voting Restrictions: Disenfranchising Black Americans" serves as a call to action—a call to challenge the status quo, demand accountability, and fight for the rights of our community. Together, let's stand united in the pursuit of justice, equality, and democracy for all.

DAC-Land, Promise, and Betrayal: The Legacy of Sherman's 40 Acres and a Mule
Welcome to another riveting episode of Da Urban Conservative, where we dive deep into the annals of history to unearth the untold stories that shape our understanding of the present. Today, we embark on a journey through the broken promises and systemic injustices that have plagued the African American community since emancipation.
In the aftermath of the Civil War, as the Union Army triumphantly marched through the former Confederate territories, a glimmer of hope emerged for the newly freed African American population. General William T. Sherman's Special Field Order 15, issued on January 16, 1865, seemed to offer a path to economic independence and self-sufficiency. This landmark order promised 400,000 acres of confiscated Confederate land to be redistributed to Black families in 40-acre plots – a pledge that resonated deeply with the aspirations of a community yearning for autonomy.
However, this promise was short-lived, as President Andrew Johnson, a staunch advocate of white supremacy, swiftly overturned Sherman's order, returning the land to its former owners – the very individuals who had fought to preserve the institution of slavery. The betrayal was profound, robbing thousands of African Americans of the opportunity to build a better future for themselves and their descendants.
The repercussions of this betrayal were immense. Denied access to land and economic resources, many former slaves were forced into sharecropping, a system of virtual indentured servitude that perpetuated cycles of poverty and exploitation. Land, once seen as a symbol of freedom, became a tool of oppression in the hands of ruthless landowners who profited off the labor of the disenfranchised.
Despite these formidable obstacles, Black Americans displayed remarkable resilience, acquiring millions of acres of land by 1910 through sheer determination and resourcefulness. Yet, this progress was systematically eroded by a combination of factors, including discriminatory lending practices, institutionalized racism within government agencies, and the prevalence of heirs' property – a form of land ownership that leaves owners vulnerable to exploitation and dispossession.
The loss of land, coupled with generations of systemic discrimination, has had profound and enduring consequences for the African American community. Today, the racial wealth gap persists, with the average net worth of a Black family standing at just one-tenth that of their white counterparts. In agriculture, Black farmers continue to face barriers to success, with net farm income averaging only 14 percent of that earned by their white counterparts.
As we confront the injustices of the past, it is imperative that we heed the lessons of history and work tirelessly to address the systemic inequities that continue to plague our society. The legacy of Sherman's broken promise serves as a stark reminder of the enduring struggle for racial justice and equality in America.
In the words of Malcolm X, "Land is the basis of all independence." Until we confront the sins of our past and dismantle the structures of oppression that continue to perpetuate inequality, true liberation will remain an elusive dream for the African American community.
Join us next time as we continue to unravel the complexities of history and confront the uncomfortable truths that shape our world. Until then, stay informed, stay vigilant, and never forget the promises unkept. This is Da Urban Conservative, signing off.

DAC-Trust in Turmoil: Unveiling the Truth Behind Black Advocacy
In today's tumultuous climate, trust within the black community is a commodity in high demand but low supply. This video delves deep into the intricate web of trust, dissecting whether black Americans should place their faith in organizations like Black Lives Matter (BLM), Niggas4Trump, or prominent figures such as Shaun King, Mark Carter, Isiah Washington, and Roland Martin.
Black Lives Matter (BLM): Despite its initial grassroots origins, BLM has come under scrutiny for its opaque leadership structure and questionable financial practices. While the movement has raised awareness about systemic racism and police brutality, some critics argue that its agenda has been co-opted by external interests, diverting attention from pressing issues within the black community. As we navigate these turbulent waters, it's imperative to interrogate BLM's motives and hold it accountable for its actions.
Niggas4Trump: This group represents a minority within a minority—a segment of black Americans who align with conservative ideologies. However, the association with a polarizing political figure raises red flags about its true intentions. Can black Americans trust a group that aligns with a leader who has historically disregarded their concerns? It's crucial to scrutinize Niggas4Trump's motives and assess whether they genuinely advocate for the advancement of black interests.
Prominent Figures:Individuals like Shaun King, Mark Carter, Isiah Washington, and Roland Martin wield significant influence within the black community. However, trust must be earned through consistency, transparency, and genuine advocacy for black issues. Black Americans must critically evaluate these figures' actions, statements, and track records before bestowing their trust upon them. Lip service is not enough; tangible results are demanded.
Celebrity Influence: Celebrities like Isiah Washington and Roland Martin have used their platforms to amplify black voices and advocate for change. While celebrity endorsements can bring attention to important issues, it's essential to recognize that fame does not always equate to expertise or integrity. Black Americans should approach celebrity activism with discernment and hold celebrities accountable for their words and actions.
In conclusion, trust is a delicate balance that requires careful consideration and evaluation. Whether it's organizations like BLM or Niggas4Trump, individuals like Shaun King or Isiah Washington, or celebrities like Roland Martin, black Americans must scrutinize motives, track records, and actions to determine where their trust lies. In these dire times, critical examination is not just a choice—it's a necessity for the survival and advancement of our community

DAC- A Critical Examination of Contemporary Civil Rights Leadership and Non-Profit Activism
In this episode of Da Urban Conservative, we embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind the façade of modern civil rights leadership and non-profit activism. Through an in-depth exploration, we dissect the promises made by prominent figures and organizations, contrasting them with the tangible impact felt within the communities they claim to represent.
We start by addressing the pervasive disconnect between the lofty rhetoric espoused by civil rights leaders and the concrete results achieved on the ground. Despite the grandiose speeches and high-profile fundraising events, it becomes evident that meaningful change often remains elusive. Instead of prioritizing genuine progress, some leaders seem more preoccupied with maintaining their own status and power, leaving the communities they profess to serve behind.
Accountability emerges as a central theme throughout our discussion. We scrutinize the mechanisms—or lack thereof—designed to hold civil rights leaders and non-profit organizations accountable for their actions and promises. It becomes apparent that transparency and oversight are sorely lacking, allowing certain individuals and entities to operate with impunity, shielded from scrutiny.

We highlight the importance of empowering local voices and supporting organizations that demonstrate a genuine commitment to authenticity, accountability, and impactful change. By shifting the focus away from self-serving agendas and towards community-driven solutions, we can begin to bridge the gap between rhetoric and reality in the realm of civil rights activism.

DAC-Minnesota Uncovered: Legislating Change, Healing Greed, Legal Turbulence, and a Drug Crisis
Welcome to Da Urban Conservative podcast, where we delve into crucial developments in Minnesota, covering legislative changes, healthcare advocacy, legal controversies, and a concerning rise in drug overdoses.
Our top story: A House-Senate conference committee in St. Paul is working on finalizing amendments to the law governing the use of force by school resource officers. This bipartisan effort, set to be signed by Governor Tim Walz, includes an amendment granting school staff greater abilities to intervene in specific situations, aiming to protect property from damage or theft.
Next on the agenda, members of the Minnesota Nurses Association (MNA) are rallying at the state Capitol to support the "Healing Greed Agenda." This proposed legislation emphasizes prioritizing patient needs over corporate greed in hospitals. Testimonies from nurses and allies will be presented to Minnesota House and Senate committees, discussing bills such as the HEAL Act, designed to protect healthcare workers from retaliation when holding hospital executives accountable for safe patient care.
In another development, House Republicans, led by Minority Leader Lisa Demuth, are calling for Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty's resignation. Allegations stem from her handling of State Trooper Ryan Londregan's fatal shooting of Ricky Cobb the Second last year. Republicans claim "cherry-picking" evidence and testimonies, while Moriarty's office dismisses these allegations as "simply false," citing a preliminary discussion with the state's use-of-force expert, Jeffrey Noble.
Lastly, authorities in Dakota County are sounding the alarm about a spike in drug overdoses. The Dakota County Drug Task Force reports a rise in both fatal and non-fatal overdoses, potentially indicating increased fentanyl in the drug supply and a surge in powder cocaine. Officers emphasize the risk to recreational users and highlight the importance of immediate access to naloxone to reverse opioid overdoses.
Today's episode has illuminated critical issues ranging from legislative reforms and healthcare advocacy to legal controversies and public health concerns. Stay informed, stay engaged, and join us for the next episode as we continue to explore the evolving landscape of Minnesota's social, political, and legal spheres.

DAC-From Chains to Solidarity: Unpacking ‘No Human Being is Illegal’ in Da Hood
In breaking down the notion that "no human being is illegal," we're peeling back the layers, especially when you factor in the struggles we've endured as black folks. See, in our history, they've always tried to strip us of our humanity – from the days of chains to the civil rights era. We've fought tooth and nail to be seen as fully human, to reclaim our dignity.
Now, when we talk about immigrants, it's important to recognize their humanity too. We can't let anyone be reduced to mere labels or made to feel less than human. The fight for equality is universal, and it hits home for us because we've been through it. So, "no human being is illegal" speaks to that shared struggle for recognition, respect, and justice.
Yet, my brother, we've got to be real about our own backyard. While we stand for the rights of all, we can't forget the battles we're facing right here in our black community. Our people are struggling, facing unemployment, systemic racism, and poverty. We can't turn a blind eye to that and act like everything is fine.
It's about demanding change in our own community first. We've got to empower our people, create jobs, and dismantle the systemic barriers holding us back. I get it – we're dealing with a system that's been rigged against us. But that's where we channel the spirit of Malcolm X, unapologetically fighting for justice, not just for us but for everyone facing oppression.
Now, the phrase "no human being is illegal" should remind us to stand in solidarity with those seeking a better life. At the same time, let's not lose sight of the battles we're fighting right here at home. It's about revolutionizing our mindset, demanding economic empowerment, education, and justice for our black brothers and sisters.
We can't just be about slogans; we need action. It's time for a change that starts within our own community. Embrace the struggle, my brother, and let's forge a path to liberation for all, with a keen eye on the battles we're fighting on our own turf. #BlackUnity #ChangeStartsWithUs

DAC- Navigating the Crossroads: Civil Rights, Politics, and the Forgotten Link
Welcome to a thought-provoking episode of "Da Urban Conservative," where we delve into a fascinating historical juncture, unpacking the intricate dynamics of civil rights, politics, and an often overlooked connection between race and gender.
In the backdrop of 1964, a pivotal era for civil rights legislation aimed at addressing the systemic challenges faced by African Americans, a subtle but cunning political maneuver unfolded. Picture this: Democratic representative Howard Smith of Virginia, strategically attempting to disrupt the passage of Title VII, a crucial bill designed to combat racial discrimination. His tactic? Introducing an unexpected twist – an amendment addressing sex discrimination.
This episode aims to unravel the motives behind such a calculated move and explore the complex resistance that women's rights encountered during this transformative period. Unlike the more straightforward but threatening opposition against black nondiscrimination rights, the struggle for women's rights manifested as a blend of complexity and humor.
The humor surrounding women's rights during this time wasn't light-hearted; it was rooted in disparaging stereotypes and the folklore surrounding marriage. This unique resistance, distinct from the challenges faced by other minority groups, adds layers to the intricate tapestry of civil rights history.
As we journey through this historical landscape, it becomes evident that the cynical linkage of race and sex discrimination as a legislative tactic was not unprecedented. Instances of similar attempts to derail civil rights bills by introducing seemingly incongruous amendments were part of a standard practice. Howard Smith's 1945 endeavor to derail a Fair Employment Practices bill and Dwight Rogers' successful but short-lived addition of "sex" to a similar bill in 1950 showcase the historical context in which these maneuvers took place.
However, not all linkages were driven by cynicism. In 1962, James Roosevelt proposed an equal employment opportunity bill encompassing both race and sex discrimination. Surprisingly, this well-intentioned effort faced opposition from significant organizations like the NAACP and government departments.
Why does this historical twist matter? Understanding this forgotten link is crucial for unraveling the complexities of the civil rights movement and acknowledging the multifaceted challenges women faced in securing their rights during this transformative time.
Join us on "Da Urban Conservative" as we explore untold stories that shape our understanding of history. In each episode, we peel back layers of resilience, challenge, and the relentless pursuit of justice, urging you to stay informed, stay engaged, and remember that history is a tapestry woven with threads of perseverance and change.

DAC-Floyd's Legacy Under Fire: Minnesota's Startling Reversal on Student Rights
In the heart of Minnesota, the battleground is set, and the powers that be are making moves that scream betrayal. The Minnesota House of Representatives, in a lopsided 124-8 vote, has thrown a hard-won ban on school resource officers using prone restraint on students right out the window. It's a slap in the face, happening just four years after George Floyd's life was stolen from him.
This ain't just politics; this is a fight for justice, reminiscent of the struggles our people have faced. They're flipping the script, turning their backs on the reforms that came after Floyd's murder. The ban on prone restraint was a crucial part of a larger movement against police brutality, and now they're trying to roll it back. It's a betrayal, plain and simple.
This so-called "SRO fix" bill they're pushing not only kicks the ban to the curb but also throws $150,000 at standardized training for school resource officers. Don't be fooled; it's a slick move in the political game, just like Malcolm X warned us about. They're trying to play us, trying to make it seem like they care about consistency and accountability when they're really just caving to law enforcement pressure.
Our advocates, echoing the spirit of Malcolm X's unapologetic fight for justice, are calling out the state leaders for turning their backs on the legacy of George Floyd. Khulia Pringle, from the National Parents Union, is asking the real questions. How is it that, in the very state where Floyd's life was stolen, they're now letting these folks use the same tactics on our kids?
The Republicans and law enforcement, they're flexing too. About 40 law enforcement agencies pulled their officers from schools when they caught wind of the restraint ban. It's like they can't stand any rule that challenges their power. Malcolm X said it best – real change always meets resistance from those clinging to the old ways.
This ain't just about legislative nuances; it's about justice, it's about our kids. The proposed legislation, in the name of creating "uniformity," is a smokescreen. It's a move to strip away the protections we fought for. They're talking about safety, but what about the safety of our children?
The Coon Rapids Police Department, they played the game too. Pulled their officers out and then did a 180 when the state attorney general gave them a pass. It's a dance they're doing, a game of smoke and mirrors. Captain Tanya Harmoning talks about consistency in training – we need consistency in justice, not in how they wield their power.
In the grand scheme, this debate ain't just confined to legislative chambers; it's playing out on the streets and in our schools. It's about how they see safety, about whose rights matter. They're trying to frame it like they're addressing confusion among law enforcement, but we see through that. It's a tactic, a ploy to undermine the changes we fought for.
The struggle against student restraints isn't just a local issue; it's a national fight. Democrats in D.C. have been trying to get a federal ban on student restraints for years. The numbers don't lie – Black students and those with disabilities bear the brunt of these tactics. It's an intersection of justice and equality that Malcolm X would recognize.
This legislation, wrapped up in a guise of caring about school resource officers, is a doorway into the bigger conversation about policing in our schools. It's a tug of war between keeping our kids safe and protecting their rights, a struggle Malcolm X would understand all too well. The talk of uniformity is a wolf in sheep's clothing – a call for consistency in oppression.
In the tapestry of this legislative drama, Malcolm X's spirit is there, reminding us of the ongoing fight for justice and equality. The decision to revisit the prone restraint ban isn't just a policy shift; it's a reflection of deep-seated issues where the echoes of history and the call for justice resonate. This legislation, wrapped in political games, stands at the crossroads of progress and regression, a challenge that echoes the struggles Malcolm X faced in his unyielding pursuit of justice.
