First sickness, now Injury! Will we get these seeds planted in time?..

I love self seeding plants and I like propagating plants. Hopefully these are successful.

I'm sowing Celery, Cilantro, Dill, Lavender, Leeks, Oregano, Parsley, Sage, Spearmint, Rosemary, Thyme.

The liver pill processing took many weeks from start to finish. I just wouldn't commit to the final stage till today. Glad that's done.

As a new year unfolds, I am trying to better my systems.

Gardening season is back! First seeds to sow are onions. Starting them earlier than ever, hoping to get some nice bulbs.

A few small tasks now is a few less later. An overdue house chore, continuing to mulch, filling up grow bags and turning the compost, all accomplished in a short window of time.

Cold frame is ready for Spring plants

I know I was meant to have these treasures because the weather held out all the days I needed.

You never know what you are capable of until you are faced with the challenge.

Who doesn't like a clean space? Plus the garden benefits greatly!

This was a mixed bag of success and failures. I'm pretty happy with the harvest and look forward to next year. Also, I'm curing them in a bin with a heat mat and bowl of water. So far so good...

We have crocuses coming up, potatoes harvested and unexpected raspberries, all in one morning.

Was very productive this afternoon clearing beds. And the chickens get some nice treats.

As the fall weather holds its warmth, it limits the beds I'm willing to put to rest. The south wall though is ready. I learned that Ginger really needs close to a year to be productive.

Prep always takes longer than I think, and the peppers end up taking priority today.

Since my fall gardening attempt was foiled, and I don't have a greenhouse yet... I'm going to content myself with some windowsill growing.

Only a few harvests left. Today it's cherry tomatoes, peppers and eggplants.

October marks the start of garden rest. Many beds are still productive, so this process will take awhile...

Late September walk-around. This time is mostly spent waiting for frost. I like to let the plants fruit as long as they can versus heading them off early just to have a clean garden space...
