Missy’s Meals are an endless variety. She gets an occasional egg but this is her first time eating it with a slice of real bacon, and some watermelon. Miss just wanted to chill. She was quite happy, and had an exciting day at a dog park for the first time, a day before. She played with about 10 dogs. She sure was worn out by the time she got home. Me too. Taking a dog to a dog park for the first time can be nerve-racking but everything went smoothly. 3 week review: First squeaking toy that Miss hasn’t destroyed within a few days! It’s a winner for her. She loves fetching or playing alone with it. It’s used indoors. Once outdoors, when I first gave it to her. It’s a decent, flexible rubber. It makes a unique noise as it’s squeezed, sounds like a human inhaling. The noise on release is similar to a baby screaming. Miss sure was howling for it, in the video, after seeing and hearing it for the first time. She hasn’t howled for it since. Unless I get her going, she won’t howl on her own. I’m glad for that! If you’re looking for a toy like this one, it was purchased in person at Walmart. I just checked, and Walmart has them online. It’s called “Vibrant Life Playful Buddy Tie Dye Chicken Dog Toy”. Cost about $8. Mini Strawberry Cream Pie. Topped with vanilla ice cream, warm strawberries, whipped cream & a drizzle of honey… Miss was given a few bites to try. She shocked me when she chose one big gulp. ☺️ I thought she’d go for strawberries first (since she eats those occasionally), then nibble on the rest. Nope. She sure can eat! She’s okay, and sleeping like a baby.

Turned out delicious! I even froze a few portions to microwave on another day. When it’s cooled to room temp, I put some in ziplock sandwich bags, I place thin, filled flat bags in the freezer, and they’re all marked with a sharpie to know what’s inside. Ingredients List at end of video. Pan lid was purchased separately to fit pan. Lids don’t always come with frying pans/skillets. It’s a good idea to measure and find lids for your different size pans. Helps speed up cooking time, and keeps foods moist when needed. I like lids with vent holes. Not all lids are oven safe. If you notice pantry items are dated with a sharpie. I write dates on everything so that I can easily see what I can use first. Much easier than having to pick up every product to find, and read fine print dates. Make A Grocery Pre-Cooked Rotisserie Chicken & Potatoes Dinner Easy. It really is delicious and filling. Ingredients listed at end of video. These small pre-cooked chickens are enough for 2-4 depending on the sizes available, and the side dishes or bread that you plan to serve. This dinner also turns out great for ahead-of-time meals. Just grab a little bit of cooked ingredients and chicken, and freeze in small freezer bags for individual portions. Reheat in microwave on another day. Remove bag and heat in a deep dish or bowl, few minutes at a time until hot. Flip in between heating in increments. Dome micro covers help keep juices contained or you can cover dish with a moist, paper towel . If you plan to eat a chicken right away, check that it’s cooked white or dark, not pink. Sometimes rotisserie chickens can use a few minutes in the microwave. Don’t over heat or it’ll dry out, and won’t be very good. Not much salt needed, rotisserie chickens come salted. The aroma and taste suggest that it was prepared in an authentic Indian kitchen. Moisture content and texture were perfect, and it was ready in 90 seconds. It’s enough rice for 2 servings. I’m not affiliated with Royal. They sell a variety of authentic cooked rice including large quantities of uncooked grains or rice in bags. Unfortunately for many of us, local stores don’t always carry a brand’s full line of products but it could be more economical to purchase sacks of raw grains online. Today’s Tuna Salad Recipe is for this brand Tuna and Mayo. 5 oz can chilled Bumble Bee White Albacore Tuna; drain water. Note: canned in water, not oil. Shredded lettuce. 3-4 Tbsp Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise (lite version is also very good, taste like regular but sometimes not available). 2 heaping Tbsp chopped celery. 1 heaping Tbsp chopped WHITE onion. Missy was so excited to get a treat that she never had before; only a few bites of Lettuce, Chicken and Cheese with a few drops of Tangy, Caesar Dressing. She actually loved it. I enjoyed it as well. It was so fresh. About the elevated bowls… After I brought missy home a year ago, it took weeks to find what I wanted to use, to elevate food and water bowls. I’m no expert but I think these baskets are a comfortable height. They look nice and are easy to clean. I was going to use bricks or rocks to weigh them down because she was only one year old at the time. I was concerned she would knock them over, start playing, and get a paw stuck but we never had any issues. I bought one basket from Dollar General, then went back a few days later, and bought the last one they had in a different color. No problem, they’re easy to spray paint if I ever want a color change. Plastic or resin beach buckets or planters would also work. It’s a good idea to bring the bowl to the stores, and make sure once it’s set up that there’s enough space in the bottom for it to be weighed down. Most planters are top heavy. Makes 10-12 delicious potato pancakes. Try not to eat them all. If onions are not something your kids like, they may like these after they smell all the ingredients being cooked. ☺️ The onions are mild, and their texture blends well in this recipe. Potato Pancakes are easy to make, but they take a few minutes to brown. When you have an hour or so to spare, make them. If a bigger pan or griddle is used (than what’s shown here) more cakes can be made in less time; if needed, adjust amount of batter per cake to fit your pan. Baby cakes are cute too. Such A Treat On Christmas Eve. Here’s one EASY way to cook a steak. -Frying pan. No oil. 1/2 “ Ribeye. Minced garlic, frozen green pepper and onion. Worcestershire Sauce. Salt and pepper. Rye Bread. -Cooking time varies for meat thickness and appliances. This steak was 1/2” thick. Removed from pan and plated at 147 degrees. It continued to cook a bit while resting. Temp info at end of video. Steak doesn’t really need salt if using Worcestershire Sauce. Use even less sauce if you like ketchup. Or reduce ketchup to a few drops. You could mix ketchup into the sauce or omit Worcestershire. If you don’t have Worcestershire, use few drops of soy sauce. If you like butter flavor, add it to pan towards end of cooking so it doesn’t burn. Same goes for ketchup, too early in the pan, it could burn. As you take a bite it feels and taste so good, similar to a Pierogi. Creamy Smooth and Chewy texture. Very satisfying meal or snack. It already contains sodium, but with added avocado, you might want a dash more. To me, Walmart’s GV brand instant mashed potatoes in the packs taste better than their box. It’s easier, faster and stays fresh longer. I think the texture is better as well. It is sold in a few different flavors but onion powder was added to this butter variety. Good hot soup in winter or anytime is always a comforting treat but prep work is so time consuming. Hope this helps. If you can’t cook, this is a good Asian recipe to try. Of course if you’re still learning or a minor, you should have someone assist you that knows how to cook. Makes 2 servings. Frozen potstickers and frozen vegetables were used. Fresh diced white onion used. Precut frozen onion works just as well. It took me 15 minutes to heat it all up. Ingredients listed in video. If you like pork, pork potsticker soup is also good. I’ve made it this way… Follow the same directions, but use cream of mushroom condensed soup. After the soup is combined with water, and brought to a boil, add a couple handfuls of frozen cauliflower with 8 pork potstickers. That’s all. No other ingredients. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 10-12 minutes. Stir occasionally. If you want to try other vegetables that’s fine but the 3 ingredients for the pork 🥟 taste so good together. The mushroom is not overpowering. This bagel sandwich just goes together so well. If you ever make instant coffee, try Colcafe Coffee (0:09 pictured is one of a variety brown lid) It’s really good. The other instant I’ve tried is also good. Same name but fatter jar with a red lid. They sell decaf as well… It’s found in few store’s international isle. It can be made with all boiled water or half hot milk or all hot milk (or cream). Also be made cold, for ice coffee. Columbian Flavor. Cicis Pizza takeout brownies are good. I usually don’t crave them with pizza. Sometimes when I order their pizza, I’ll order their 24 brownies, then freeze them in freezer bags to eat another day. You could take one out and microwave it for a few seconds at a time, until thawed, and eat as is or… When I made this dessert, brownies were thawed in refrigerator overnight.
