Bzzz Button is a member of the Fila-Mint family.
Bzzz Button costs 50 Sun.
When eaten, Bzzz Button electrifies the zombie which ate it. This will do 22 damage initially. (Increasing damage per level.)
Electrified zombies will zot nearby zombies dealing 32 damage. This lightning will bounce to four (4) targets. (+1 every odd level.)
Electrified zombies are slowed.
When given plant food, Bzzz Button will explode dealing 100 damage. (Increasing damage per level.)

Commentary:
Bzzz Button is a cool idea. We like cool idea plants. We like plants that have multiple effects.

Like many other plants which have multiple effects, Bzzz Button doesn't do anything well.
It can slow zombies quite well. But slowed zombies still advance towards the house.
Electrifying zombies is nice. But the damage is fairly low. At best this could be considered a softener.
Giving Bzzz Button a plant food will only do a small fraction - around 10-20% - of what Cherry Bomb can do. This isn't exactly scream first pick, does it?

Bottom Line:
Bzzz Button is fairly inexpensive so it can be useful in the early game. Yet with so many early game options, we simply do not find many situations where Bzzz Button would be preferable over Chili Bean or Primal Potato Mine.

Players start with 1,750 Sun.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
