So we finally arrived and were going to be spending the night at Die Damhuis. What an extraordinary place! The wooden house was built on the water, overlooking the lake and all the birdlife. There were Egyptian Geese with seven ducklings and a pair of Red-knobbed Coots with two chicks which made our stay really amazing.
