Dr Ted Naiman: For weightlifters & serious athletes...how to manage carbs & fasting
3 years ago
1
Dr Naiman, in discussion with Mark Bell's Power Podcast #292, highlights how weightlifters and serious athletes should consider cycling carbs and ketosis. Traditionally, carbs have been considered critical to provide energy and glucose, but Dr Naiman clarifies that ketosis enables all the energy required if enough protein is consumed.
He also discusses his view that intermittent fasting of 16 hours daily, with an 8 hour eating window, is his choice.
