Eternal Recurrence

This video presents Nietzsche's famous notion of "the Eternal Return of the Same" or "Eternal Recurrence".

Nietzsche urges to embrace life no matter how difficult it is.

The eternal return of the same is tied to Nietzsche's notion of Amor Fati. This is because the eternal return of the same is somewhat a kind of a thought experiment, which says that if we are given the chance to live life over and over again, if we are given the chance to be born again 20 times or so, we ought to love the same kind of life no matter what.

At the end of the day, Nietzsche urges us to embrace the entirety of life including the bad and the good.
