Nancy Pelosi Announces a Special 9/11 Style Independent Commission Will Examine the Capitol Riots

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has stated that Congress will establish an independent, September 11th style commission to investigate the riots that took place at the US Capitol.

Pelosi said the purpose of the commission is to investigate and report the facts and causes of the January 6th incident. Republicans then responded to Pelosi with their own inquiry, and some are questioning Pelosi’s leadership and security decisions that lead up to the capitol riots.
