Phone scammer takes $31K from Butler County man

Representative Warren Davidson is going to vote yes on a bill that would allow the FCC to seek financial penalties against people who make calls with misleading caller ID information and increase penalties for robocall violations. Butler County resident Charles Lotton sent $31,000 over three months to a woman in Florida who claimed that he won $2.5 million in the lottery, but she needed cash and gift cards for insurance.
