Incredible Happenings! @the Great Hairy Caterpillar Gathering .

I don't know why the Hairy Caterpillars are doing the Circle Dance around a cold cast iron frypan left in the rain.
I am not an expert or biologist. I am also unapologetically prone, in equal measures to "anthropomorphism" with non-humans and what I call " animalization" of people.
Are the forming a circle for world peace? Is it a mating ritual, or are they lost?
