In this 2nd episode of Broken Narratives I have covered one of the intervention that was used during the pandemic to reduce spread of the virus, which was not just recommended but also mandated all over the world. I am talking about face masks.
I have covered early reporting on mask and their effectiveness against reducing transmission and sudden shift in recommendation of mask wearing for healthy population, instructions how to wear a mask, who should wear it and inconsistency in recommendations for different age group in different nations; and finally testimonies from some experts on personal protective equipment(PPE) on effectiveness of masks against viral transmission.
