Russian military personnel ensured the safe conduct of the next rotation of the IAEA mission observers at the NPP

On January 11, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation ensured the safe conduct of the next rotation of observers of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission at the Zaporizhia NPP.

To do this, a ceasefire regime was declared on the route from the designated crossing point of the observers – the destroyed bridge near the village of Kamenskoye from 6.00 to 18.00, which was strictly observed by the Russian military.

During the inspection of the road in the transition areas, Russian servicemen detected unexploded ordnance left as a result of new systematic shelling from the Ukrainian side in the immediate vicinity of the NPP.

Despite the presence of non-cleared mines, Russian military personnel ensured the safe passage of the mission's observers and their delivery to the station.
