Kawasaki Mule SX ● How to Remove the Hood and Lights
If you plan to install a winch, fuse box, or other accessories, then you need to remove the hood and front lights from your Kawasaki Mule to access the space underneath. This is not a difficult job, but I recommend that you buy a $10 set of replacement plastic push pins (fender plugs). It will make your reinstall go much easier, as the plastic pins often are mangled upon first use. Also, consider buying that pair of clip/pin removal pliers also - that will speed things up. Also, if you are taking off your hood, then you might as well install the factory OEM horn also - the wiring is already there and the OEM factory kit is cheap. Just a thought!
