After pit stop in Idaho, we finally made our way to Mt. Rainier National Park! We began our day waking up in the Clear Creek Falls Overlook, just outside of Mt. Rainier, and got some amazing footage of this beautiful waterfall as the sun was coming up. We made our into Mt. Rainier NP and shortly after some breakfast, we did the 5.3 mile Lakes Trail which offered forest, meadows, lakes, and at the end opened up to amazing views of Mt. Rainier (we hiked counter-clockwise and would recommend this since we were facing Mt. Rainier towards the end. When we were close to finishing the loop, we ran into someone who said we had to check out Panorama Point so we decided to give it try, and we are sure glad we did! Amazing views of not only Mt. Rainier but we could see for miles with truly panorama views. The cherry on top was hearing the mini avalanche! We concluded our day by hiking back down to the Paradise Inn and cheffing up some quesadillas as we watched sunset from the Paradise Inn overflow parking area where we slept. In the morning we took the quick paved loop on the Nisqually Vista Trail, which had great views of Mt. Rainier as well.
