“We valued the creation of an environment in our small business of no fear and no judgment for our customers, but most importantly, for our staff.” Gayle Brown, one of the speakers at the Hazards of Masks Forum, is applauded as she explains how her small business became the top tourist attraction in the state.

In May, 2023 "The Vermont Emergency Forum to Assess the Respiratory Hazards of Masks" brought an interdisciplinary team of ADA, IDEA and OSHA experts to Burlington, to begin the process of assessing and addressing the harms Vermonters continue to experience as a result of ongoing mask requirements in schools, medical facilities, and workplace settings.

In this segment, Vermont Stands Up board member and business owner Gayle Brown shares her journey of standing up with Courage and Confidence over the past three years of lock-downs, masks and other health freedom infringements.
