Here is a simple tomato chutney recipe:

Ingredients:
- 4 medium-sized tomatoes
- 2 medium-sized onions
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste

Instructions:
1. Wash and chop the tomatoes, onions, and green chilies.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Saute until the onions turn translucent.
3. Add ginger paste, minced garlic, and green chilies. Saute for a minute.
4. Add chopped tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, and cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
5. Allow the mixture to cool down completely.
6. Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
