How to clean and dry your brass cases (wet tumbling and alcohol bath)

I show you my process for cleaning brass using wet tumbling media with stainless steel pins from www.stainlesstumblingmedia.com which I have had great success with so far.

Essentially I take the brass and put it in my drum, then I load up the stainless tumbling media. I add the water and dish soap and lemishine. I seal it off with a PVC tester plug and let it tumble for several hours depending on the load I am doing.

Then once that is done I dump the brass and media into my sifter and remove as many stainless pins as possible.

Then I dunk the wet brass in alcohol. I used 70% which works decently or you can use 99% which should work even better since it would evaporate faster. Dunking the wet brass in alcohol helps displace the water. Since the alcohol evaporates faster it makes for faster drying.

I then dump the brass on a towel, rub it around a little, then for extra help I put a fan on the brass for an hour or so.
