- Jack Sanborn to IR. The Bears have placed the rookie UDFA LB on injured reserve with an ankle injury. Sanborn’s season is over as he finishes with 64 tackles and 2 sacks for the 2022 NFL Season, with most of that production coming after the Roquan Smith trade.
- More Bears Injury Updates: Chicago has designated RB Khalil Herbert to return from IR as he’s expected to play on Sunday against the Bills. Bears head coach Matt Eberflus says that OL Teven Jenkins (neck) and Cody Whitehair (knee) are day-to-day. David Kaplan reported that Whitehair might have suffered a serious knee injury, but Eberflus did not suggest that at his press conference today.
- Bears vs. Bills Weather Report. Chicago is expected to get 6-12 inches of snow on Thursday and Friday leading up to Saturday’s game at Soldier Field. It’s not expected to snow on Saturday, but temperatures are expected to be below zero degrees with wind chill.
- Bears Draft Rumors: Could Chicago still get the #1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft? The Bears are guaranteed a Top 2 pick if they lose their final 3 games, but could still get the top selection if the Houston Texans win 2 more games. Houston faces the Titans this week, likely without Ryan Tannehill playing for Tennessee, the Jaguars in Week 17 and the Colts in Week 18. While it’s a longshot for the Bears to pick 1st in the 2023 NFL Draft, Houston has almost beaten the Cowboys and Chiefs in back-to-back weeks.Show more
