Amateur Footage Captures Moment After Sound Cannon Goes Off, Possibly Set by Police (May 30th, 2020)

This amateur footage I filmed, shows the moment or two after some sort of sound cannon, or else some kind of invisible weapon that creates a loud bang but no light nor fire, was set off (probably by the police) at the corner of State & Wacker around 7 P.M. on May 30th, 2020.

I regret that I was unable to capture the incident itself, but if I had captured it, all that viewers would have seen, was a busy intersection crowded with people, and a loud bang going off at a location which would have been difficult to locate.

I suspect that it might have been the Chicago Police Department that set off that device, because the protesters present were looking around to figure out what it was and where it came from. Nobody seemed to know who did it, and the police seemed completely unphased by the explosion and did not react to it.

Since I witnessed police setting off flash-bang grenades near the feet of their own officers on the State Street Bridge that evening, I strongly suspect that the bang I heard - about 30 seconds before I began filming this video (around 7 P.M.) - could have been the fault of the police.

Anyone who has constant video of what happened between 6:45 P.M. and 7:15 P.M., on the corner of State and Wacker in Chicago, on May 30th, 2020, should email jwkopsick@gmail.com with details.
