Ms. Alfano was shocked when she saw an alligator in front of her house in South Carolina. She quickly called the police and the wildlife management organization to take the alligator away. Ms. Alfano was nervous but excited to have had such a close encounter with a wild creature.

Ms. Karen Alfano was having the time of her life in her new home in South Carolina, USA. She had just relocated from New Jersey and was enjoying the warmer weather and relaxed lifestyle. However, her idyllic existence came to a screeching halt when she spotted an alligator on her front porch!Ms. Alfano immediately suffered a heart attack at the sight of the reptile. The alligator, which was 2.5 meters long, proceeded to try and break into the house by reaching for the doorbell with its mouth. Fortunately, it was unsuccessful in getting inside.The alligator then lay down on the carpet in front of the house and appeared to be taking a nap. Ms. Alfano called 911 to report the incident but was told by authorities that they would not be sending anyone out because the alligator wasn't longer than 1.5 meters. They advised her that little crocodiles like this one didn't pose a threat to people and therefore there was no need to worry. Eventually, the alligator was taken away by a wildlife management organization but not before causing some damage to Ms. Alfano's property. Even though she's been through a harrowing experience, Ms. Alfano says that it was excellent and can happen to anyone!
