Mutagenesis is a process by which the genetic information of an organism is changed by the production of a mutation. It may occur spontaneously in nature, or as a result of exposure to mutagens. It can also be achieved experimentally using laboratory procedures. Wikipedia

Where are graphite mined?
Turkey has the largest reserves of graphite, followed by China and Brazil. Together these three countries accounted for 72% of the estimated world graphite reserves

In 2020, global reserves of graphite were estimated to be 323.8 million tonnes. Turkey has the largest reserves of graphite, followed by China and Brazil

Dr Chao Zhang earned his B.S. degree in applied chemistry (1998), and his M.S. degree (2002) and PhD degree in polymer chemistry (2005) from Wuhan University, China. He had been working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of California, San Diego, from 2006 to 2010. Dr Chao Zhang became an associate professor of biomedical engineering in 2010 at Sun Yat-sen University, China. His current research interest includes carbon nanotube-polymer nanocomposites for biomedical applications, hydrogel scaffolds for tissue engineering, implantable materials for bone repair/regeneration, mechanism of osteogenic differentiation of stem cells etc.

Mr Pengfei Yin received his bachelor's degree in 2018 from the School of Life Science, Anhui Medical University in Hefei and now he is a master's student in the school of Biomedical Engineering, Sun Yat-Sen University, under the supervision of Dr Yang Liu and Prof. Chao Zhang. His research interest includes the fast synthesis of carbon nanotubes using conducting polymers and microwave ovens and the fabrication of flexible neural interfacing electrodes for signal recording and stimulation using carbon nanotube-based materials.

Mr Naishun Guo was born in Shandong province, east of China in 1995. He received his bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Weifang Medical College in 2018. Now he is studying for a master's degree in the School of Biomedical Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University, focusing on the rapid synthesis of carbon nanotubes using microwaves under the supervision of Dr Yang Liu and Prof. Chao Zhang. His research interest also includes the mechanism study of the improved mechanical properties of polylactic acid with the addition of carbon nanotubes.

Abstract
The facile growth of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) using microwave radiation reveals a new way for the cost-effective synthesis of CNTs for a wide range of applications. In this regard, domestic microwave ovens can be used as convenient plasma reactors to grow CNTs in a very fast, simple, energy-saving and solvent-free manner. The special heating mechanism of microwaves can not only accomplish the fast growth of high-density CNT brushes within tens of seconds,

Dr Yang Liu graduated from Donghua University, Shanghai, China, in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in textile chemistry. He then joined Dr Xinyu Zhang's laboratory in Auburn University as a master's student and mainly conducted research in the synthesis and carbonization of conducting polymer nanostructures for sensory and energy-storage applications. He graduated from Auburn University with academic excellence in 2013 and joined Prof. John H. Xin's group at Hong Kong Polytechnic University to study the interfacial physics of nanostructured carbons and semiconductors as a PhD student. Now he is a research associate professor in Sun Yat-sen University, Guangdong, China.

Mythology

Heraeus and his siblings were the most nefarious and carefree of all people. To test them, Zeus visited them in the form of a peasant.

These brothers mixed the entrails of a child into the god's meal, whereupon the enraged king of the gods threw the meal over the table. Heraeus was killed, along with his brothers and their father, by a lightning bolt of the god.[5]
