I think it's going to become clear, it seems to me. that is ultimately what we've been watching from the biggest voting block in the republican party. I think 50% of Trump's votes came from self-identified evangelical Christians. more or less 50 percent. they've been lying about their agenda from the get-go. and I think we're going to start to see more examples of this. this is completely far afield. happens to include Eric Swalwell again. Swalwell apparently is taking some type of trip. I don't know where he's going. not relevant to this but it is somewhere ostensibly in his business as a congressman. He went and got a try to get a declaratory ruling I guess as to whether he could use campaign funds to provide for a babysitter for the week that he was leaving town. which is exactly what we want our lawmakers to do. Is it okay for me to use the funds in this instance? goes to the fec. put aside what their ruling is. I don't even know what they decided in terms of whether that's appropriate or not. One of the commissioners, a guy named James Traynor self-ids is a conservative catholic. he was the former commissioner, I mean chair of the FEC. He's now just a commissioner. Here is his response to this looking for this declaratory ruling. It's fascinating. I say about this issue and I do see this as nothing more than a member of congress looking for a way to have donors pay for nanny services while they run off on week-long trips overseas. and to be really honest with you I'm actually going to pass judgment. I think it's abhorrent that congressman Swalwell would have such a young child and want to leave them in the care of someone else for a week-long trip overseas. and using donor contributions to pay for that. and I think it's just inappropriate that we've even had to address this question. is your regard but I'm getting close to cutting this off. it's somewhat outside of the motion. and that is why I'm aghast. because I think the comment is outside of the ao request. I think it puts us in concern about consideration for other matters. that's not appropriate for what we're doing here now.
