Self coaching
“Be your own coach” Well that’s great but what does that mean?
-
1: locate your issues.
2: stop reinforcing the issues.
3: find the solution
4: rep the solution

From MIL to SWAT to CIV - Steve Winenger of Ripcord Industries
This week we sit down for a coffee and conversation with Steve Winenger, founder of Ripcord Industries, covering how he went from a manager at Dairy Queen as a kid all the way to his time in the military and his law enforcement career in SWAT. There are a lot of laughs mixed in with some dark stories, so viewer discretion is advised.
And yes, we know LEOs are civilians too.

Reloading in the prone
Reloading in the prone can be awkward if you haven’t practiced it much. Instead of lifting your carbine, try rotating it! If it doesn’t work for you, that’s ok but give it a try.

Marine to Civilian MilSim Loadout
We chat with Collin Underdahl about how he sets up his gear and kit for MilSim, how it compares to what he uses in real life, and loadout hacks he learned during his time in the USMC.
We're big fans of loadout videos because they serve as a "behind-the-scenes" of someone's thought process and give us new ideas and insights on how to optimize our own gear. We've known Collin for a long time, so it was a pleasure to finally catch up with him and share his loadout theory with you.
Collin can be found on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/collin_underdahl

How to Build a Community of Like-Minded Individuals
"I can't find people to train with."
This is something we hear all the time. It's very difficult to find individuals of the same preparedness and 2A mindset. But, they may not be too far out of reach. In this video from our Podcast, we discuss different ways and methods of developing a "crew" or "team" and get back to the basics of what "community" means.
We'd love to see you all contribute ideas on how to connect with like-minded individuals. Hit that comment section.

Irons are… Dead?
While they lack a lot of benefits that dots provide, iron sights can still be fast and accurate.

Pistol lights & activation
How you activate pistol lights may change based on the light, the gun or your hands. When it comes to the @streamlightinc TLR7a, we really like these @emissarydevelopment switches. (They sent them to Josh for free about 3 years ago). Those switches make momentary activation very easy.
-
On the X300 platform, you can choose to rock momentary or constant, just make sure you don’t leave the light on when you’re not actively using it.

What Is Dirty Civilian?
Our nation won its independence thanks to armed, organized, and competent civilians. But their survival and continued success only happened because those capable men built strong families and resilient communities for generations before.
In this video, Josh Lowry and Drew Hopkins discuss the purpose and passion behind the launch and future of Dirty Civilian.
