I went to church today with a friend, who is a Lutheran, and the pastor did an alternate gospel from chapter 17 of gospel of Saint Luke. The story of the 10 lepers. Nine were Jewish and one was Samaritan. Jesus instructed them to show themselves to the priests so they could be declared clean. The Samaritan came back and thank Jesus Jesus told him that he was saved what happened to the other nine? Happy Thanksgiving, 2023, we all have a lot to be thankful for. Three years ago I was radiated for cancer, and then a recent test. I am cancer free. I am thankful for that. I recently talked with two couples. In the first marriage the man had no affection or appreciation for his wife. The second couple she doesn't listen to her husband and she spends more than they both make, causing him severe health issues because of stress. In both cases the lack of mutual respect and friendship are just awful. Good marriages start with love of God first and love and friendship with your spouse second. Abortion is a very controversial issue in the United States. There have been 60 million abortions in the United States since 1973. Supreme court, some legislative bodies, and other courts all tried to define when life begins. Some say at 20 weeks earlier and some later. In science class we learned that a cell is alive when it can split in two. At the moment of conception, this process starts and a 22 days child is a heartbeat. Where are stand on this issue may affect where we spend eternity. Does God really create something he doesn’t want? I don’t think so. Saint Paul tells us in Romans chapter 7 verse 12 they will all count for our lives in front of God, when our time is up here on earth. I recently watched the movie V for Vendetta and I will always remember the Fifth of November. And I remember the film, Pinocchio, and I look at the food additives, how ineffective government is in representing us and things like the Tuskegee experiments and the JFK assassination and I know there’s a little or none character in public office, or among those who produce goods for stars to sell to most people. I can’t understand why the preservatives and food are actual poisons or disease causing substances. We must realize that when Moses was 80 he began his 40 year walk across the desert, and so many people who are 80 today are so sickly that many of them don’t even know who they are anymore. We need to demand better and we need to be much smarter about where we buy things and force these companies to actually give us good food and proper medicine. The railroad rides on us and we shouldn’t be afraid of our government, but our government should be afraid of us. And we need to wake up and hold them all accountable at the ballot box. Shame on your churches, for not speaking up and doing what it’s right! What kind of men and women are in these pulpits they can look at evil like this, and give some twisted sermon that has nothing to do with our lives and the holy books inspired by God.
