Happy Hoppers are the absolute FAVORITE snack of our Speckled Sussex hens!

Found this treasure at Tractor Supply Company yesterday. This Chicken is the greatest Halloween decoration ever — The likes of which this country has NEVER seen before!

If you pull out a bag of Happy Hoppers, our Speckled Sussex chickens come running! Happy Hoppers are dried grasshoppers and the girls can’t get enough!

Took an offering of broccoli into the hens and they absolutely love it! Hopefully they will give us some eggs soon!

Something the Speckled Sussex hens and humans have in common … neither liked Kale!

Today was a beautiful Mother’s Day, so our ladies took a trip outside in the Tennessee sun!

Our Speckled Sussex hens LOVE when their owners bring meal worms, crickets, and grasshoppers to eat! In this case, it was a chicken feeding frenzy!

Our Speckled Sussex hens might enjoy broccoli more than they enjoy meal worms or crickets. They go ape for this stuff!
