Thorium: The Useful Worthless Element
Is thorium the solution to climate change? It might be. A thorium-powered molten salt nuclear reactor is the cheapest, most reliable, and safest energy we could produce and with very few carbon emissions. This technology is so energy-dense that it can end our reliance on foreign fossil fuels and enriched uranium, leaving little to no radioactive nuclear waste, unlike with our standard light water nuclear reactors.
