This video is going to speak about the power of friendship evangelism or what is friendship evangelism? Friendship evangelism is a simple and practical way to share your faith. It doesn't take much time and effort. And won’t require you to go outside your normal routine. You do not have to have any training or memorize evangelism formulas. And I will share with you two recent stores of me sharing my faith with others that I believe will encourage you to do the same. I will also show you some of the street evangelism I am doing in NYC. I recent poll showed that 90% of Christians will never lead anyone to faith (So that is 9 out of 10). Out of the 10% who do share their faith, 90% of them haven’t done it in the last five years. On top of this churches don't usually give teaching on evangelism which use to be common practice. My church does evangelism on the street in Times Square NYC on a weekly basis. We play worship music and preach the gospel. But we street evangelism tips from Scott McNamara from Jesus at the Door which makes evangelism simple. This is evangelism training that anyone can use. Go to jesusatthedoor.com for more information. We hosted two big rally's with Sean Feucht Let Us Worship in Times Square NYC and 5,000 attended the first rally. Street Evangelism isn't always the best method to use. Recently the lord led me to start Friendship evangelism to two people and i will share those stories with you. Friendship evangelism is simply to be kind and friendly to the people you come across in everyday life. They can be: neighbors, people at a grocery store or gas station, or when you go out to eat someplace. And you are just being friendly to people. Getting to know a little bit about peoples lives. After you develop a friendship with people you might be able to share your faith and tell them your testimony. Recently i had two huge open doors to share my faith with people and it revived my faith. This could also be an Evangelism sermon.
