Ah yes, the question that is as old as the Christian Faith itself. We are taught early on that the work of Yeshua on the Tree fulfilled the Torah (Law) and that in effect, the Law is dead. Any attempt to follow the law is seen as a heretical move and that there is no way that someone can or should explain the relationship of Law to Grace unless it is to nullify the Torah or to establish the doctrine of Tithing which is of itself part of the Law. It would seem that there is no grace where Tithing is concerned. IF you tithe you are blessed, if you don’t tithe you are going to hell, no questions asked. Paul talks about 7 different Laws that encompass the Torah. When Paul says that Yeshua fulfilled the Law, what was he saying exactly? Could the fact that the Torah is banished in many churches be the reason why many churches seem to be in anarchy? Tonight we’ll look at how Paul looked at the Torah and how he looked at Grace and perhaps we can see that the two are meant to work together.
