Artillery unit of the Airborne Forces on the combat mission on the right bank of the Dnieper

Artillery units of 120-mm self-propelled guns 2S9 Nona-S of the Novorossiysk Guards mountain formation daily conduct combat work to destroy the manpower and equipment of Ukrainian militants who are redeploying and rotating on the bank of the Dnieper river.

According to intelligence, enemy units constantly transfer forces and means along coastal roads. Having received an order to impede the movement of the enemy, the crews of the Nona-S self-propelled guns marched to firing positions and, after aiming along a hinged trajectory from open positions, fired direct and semi-direct fire at the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, inflicting a fire defeat on them. Having completed the fire mission, the paratroopers quickly changed their firing positions.

Reconnaissance, fire correction and control of target destruction is carried out by crews of complexes with unmanned aerial vehicles.
