American Silver Eagles - Will I EVER Buy Them AGAIN?

The American Silver Eagle. The world’s best-selling, most popular, and recognizable sovereign bullion coin. Will I ever buy them again? For YEARS now, I’ve largely avoided buying the American Silver Eagle. I filled a monster box of silver eagles prior to the pandemic, saw the premiums go ballistic, and I subsequently swore off this "Tier 1" silver stacking target of mine. I moved to hoarding silver rounds like two tubes of silver Scottsdale Mint Cowboy rounds from SD Bullion. I got those silver rounds for under my personal premium limit of 20%. Silver Eagle premiums are way more than that! And that’s why, when people ask me if I’m buying American silver eagles I say NO WAY! In this video I discuss the US mint's production issues and government requirements to “meet public demand” for silver eagles. I also discuss the challenge of buying silver planchets from suppliers at MARKET VALUE while suppliers buy their silver above spot price to mint their own silver products. Later in the video I unbox other random government-minted sovereign silver coins in cull or circulated condition that I got at just a 15% premium over spot! Finally, I share another great deal on a gold mining stock I couldn’t pass up largely due to the recent dip in the price of precious metals.
