From MrTurbodiesel's perspective: The 6.7 Powerstroke Diesel was supposed to replace the 6.4L Powerstroke Diesel A.K.A. MAXXFORCE 7 Diesel engine to make it better for diesel market buyers today. NAVISTAR/International ended their contract share with Ford Motor Company and International kept their own diesel engines to themselves. Unfortunately, NAVISTAR/International was sued in court a lot because they threw their diesel engines out the door and was a huge failure. In 2016, NAVISTAR/International discontinued their MAXXFORCE engine lineup and never made their own diesel engine for Medium Duty and other trucks ever again. Instead, they shared a contract with Cummins and NAVISTAR/International thinks that the customers want the Cummins to replace the MAXXFORCE Diesel engine lineup. And yet it was a huge success! I also have a friend that goes to my high school and owns a 2014-2016 Ford F-350 SRW with the 6.7 Powerstroke Diesel engine and his engine blew up and the repair bill had to cost $59,000 + $1,000 TAX. just to get the whole engine fixed. I wouldn't buy a normal output 6.7 Powerstroke Diesel engine unless if I can find a solution on how to bulletproof the diesel engine. And I don't even know if the 6.7 High Output Powerstroke Diesel engine has any major issues yet. Please Like, Subscribe, Follow, Rumble & Enjoy. Thanks.
