Henry takes us on a deep dive into the WW2 Kar98k Sniper Rifle (Scharfschützengewehr) and the snipers behind it. What made it different from the standard Kar98k?

Did you know that the Germans actually had a Suppressed kar98k sniper model with subsonic ammunition to match it too?!

This late-war Kar98k rifle wears a 4x Optikotechna scope on a Short Side Rail and was assembled by Mike Cramer (19Charlie Tactical). The scope has no clicks on the dial. These WW1-WW2 era sniper rifles employ a lock-screw turret scope, so adjustments are a lot less precise when compared to our modern scopes.

Also a special thanks to Brian R. for his photo of the Kar98k sniper variants.
