As Michelle Obama rightly quotes “Communities and countries and ultimately the world is only as strong as the health of their women.” It is integral to understand the significant role that women play in society and this was correctly acknowledged and understood by the power-dynamic-duo Neharika and Kuntal Mehta. With more than two decades of experience providing technology to start-ups as well as being involved in multiple businesses, they commenced working around women's healthcare and better access to its services with a digital health care platform, Cicle. In addition, they have been constantly trying to revolutionise the health industry through compassion and hard work.

Considering the inadequacy of resources for women's health in India and the lack of attention offered to their wellbeing, the couple worked diligently to create Cycle, under SheResolved, an app and website that offers a 360-degree shift in the women's health paradigm. A pan-India project addressing working women and housewives, facilitating their gynaecology consultations from the comfort of their homes. Health and comfort, as they believe, should go hand in hand. As part of Cicle, Neharika and Kuntal aim to empower women to prioritise, assess and reach out to healthcare providers for health concerns, including PCOS, infertility, pregnancy, and mental and physical wellbeing. Cicle specialises in fitness, offers customised nutrition plans, specifically meal plans for PCOS and pregnancy. In addition, it also has a team of competent and professional doctors onboard who come together to offer the finest services to each patient.
Good healthcare services are a basic right, however, a challenging pursuit even for women in metros and mega cities. The duo understood how there was a lack of bare minimum knowledge and awareness concerning PCOS, PCOD, mental health, and others. That was their calling!

The idea emerged during a visit to their hometown in India. During their everyday routine at home and with their families they observed and realised the lack of importance women at their home give to their health. The families were also least concerned and that made them introspect the whole situation and raise concerns about women’s health. It was then that they decided to step up and create a positive impact by leveraging the situation at hand, changing it into an opportunity to intervene.
With Cicle, they envisioned a digital healthcare service provider platform that could assess women’s health charts and notify them regarding their menstrual cycle, ovulation days and pill intake with mental and physical health management. They were particular and highly rigorous in innovating new systems and analyses that could help with such nitty-gritties. The app and website are one-stop solutions for women, and function on tangible attributes such as sleep patterns, heart rate, past period dates, and others. It is also a knowledge-sharing and imparting platform driven by medical and scientific data. Its credibility is reflected in the intricacies that the platforms offer.
Neharika and Kuntal are passionate about ensuring that women in India have easy access to healthcare. To them, such a basic right shouldn’t become a treasure hunt. With such diligence and hope for a better future
