Marxist and communist ideas have undoubtedly snuck their way into the thoughts and ideas of American culture—from pop culture figures idolizing the likes of communist revolutionaries such as Che Guevara and Mao Zedong, to the Marxist underpinnings of the Black Lives Matter movement, and the current culture war against critical race theory.
