HELP ME DESIGN This Barn Door Coffee Table! Which Option Will You Choose????

Sharon here. I'm already building furniture for the new VRBO cabin rental and the first board hasn't even arrived! But why wait? I'll be making many of the DIY rustic furniture items for the living room, dining room, kitchen, porch, bedrooms and bath using wood harvested from our Southern Illinois farm and from our barn demolitions and prior rehabs. Basically the whole cabin will be full of them! That's why I'm starting early. I've made rustic barn door coffee tables before and left the hinges intact. This one I had to remove the hinges and now I'm wondering if I should put them back on in a different position? Hoping you will be able to give me your favorite option.
