In this video I talk with a coin shop owner about purchasing 1000 ounce silver bars. At this local coin shop or bullion dealer we looked at rare silver bars and worked our way up to the biggest silver bar. The 1000 oz silver bars are extremely heavy. At the end of the video I lift the 1000 ounce silver bar and it was not easy. I have never seen a 1000 oz silver bar before. This particular large silver bar weighed about 990 ounces. Most of the massive silver bars that you can get off of the comex are odd weights. This coin shop owner talks about the pros and cons of purchasing these huge silver bars. In this video I talk about what is going on with silver price this week. The CPI inflation data for May is coming out on Tuesday, June 13th and the next FOMC meeting is on the 14th. We should see some silver price movement this week either up or down and it could be dramatic. When is comes to the silver news this week it is going to be a wild ride. I am still predicting that we see a spike in silver price at the end of the year or in early 2024. I am stacking silver and buying silver as much as I can right now. I think that silver price seems low right now relatively speaking. Silver price can go lower, but even if it does I think it will bounce back. When it comes to silver stacking I am recommending silver bars and silver rounds over silver coins because of the premiums. The larger a piece of gold is the smaller the premium on that piece of gold is typically. This goes for gold coins such as gold krugerrands and gold eagles as well as gold bars. If you want to pay the lowest premium and get the most for your money they I advise buying gold in the 1 oz size. When you buy a 1 oz gold coin the total cost will run you just over $2,000 today, but the premium you pay for the gold will be significantly lower compared to fractional gold. In this video I talk about a disturbing new trend is silver coins. I have been silver stacking since 2018 and I have noticed that there has been a large increase in new semi-numismatic silver coins. These silver coins carry a high premium and are not the best thing to buy for silver investing or for silver stacking. Many of the online bullion dealers and coin shops are now pushing these coins and trying to sell more and more of them. I fear that new silver stackers will opt to purchase these silver coins instead of the low premium types of silver that are better for silver investing. Silver rounds, silver bars, and low premium silver coins are a much better option and will give you more silver in your stack at the end of the day. I feel as though silver spot price is relatively low and now is great time to be increasing your silver stack as much as you can.
