I spoke to the Deputy Constable of Eagle Pass who shared that apprehensions at his section of the border reached almost a million since January of this year. Overall 2.1 million people illegally crossed last year. In this specific sector the numbers have already surpassed last year's high of almost 1 million.

In Eagle Pass we watched as illegal immigrants crossed from Mexico into the US. After they are picked up and processed by Border Patrol a non-governmental organization will take over and give the migrants food, phones and other supplies before taking them to the bus station.
