As I stepped into the tavern, I was surprised how many different areas they offer to sit & dine. A long shiny bar that surrounded the bar tender was the 1st thing you see. Hanging glass panels and soft lighting created a welcoming vibe, perfect for a relaxed cold one and watch the game. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that every guest felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the visit. They have more than enough large screen TV's that are visible from almost any angle. They offer traditional tables & chairs plus nice comfortable booths that are high backed enough to provide some sense of privacy.
Now, let's talk about the fish and chips. The menu boasted a couple of options for fish, and I opted for the tempura battered fish fillets, that came with a generous portion of steak fries. The dish arrived promptly, and I was immediately captivated by its presentation. The fish was double battered & perfectly fried to a golden-brown and crispy, encasing a tender and flaky interior. The chips ( steak fries ) were equally delightful, with a satisfying crunch and a fluffy interior. The portion size was generous, leaving me satiated without feeling overly stuffed.
What truly set this bar & grill apart was the quality of the ingredients. The fish was undoubtedly fresh, and the batter had a delightful lightness to it, allowing the natural flavors of the cod to shine through. The chips were cooked to perfection, and their seasoning was spot-on—neither too bland nor overpowering. Additionally, the dish was accompanied by ½ a seasoned lemon along with a tangy tartar sauce that complemented the fish beautifully.

My overall experience was excellent, the server friendly throughout the meal, stopping to chat for a minute even tho she was tending bar & taking food orders as well. She was very knowledgeable on exactly how the meal is prepared.
