What does this video show? This video shows Word Connect for the levels listed in the title. What is Word Connect Pro? Word Connect Pro is a Cross-word lite game where a group of letters are given and the player needs to fill the puzzle using only those letters given. How to play The player drags the pointer across the letters to make a combination. If this combination is a word, the player will be rewarded. Review of the game? The music is relaxing. The concept is fine. This game is good for those people where English is their primary language. Some of these words may not be known to non-native English speakers. However the word list leaves much to be desired: Some words are not known to the game - like MAGE. Some words are known but their plural is not - GAME is acceptable and GAMES is not. Some words are accepted in some levels but not in others. The game considers SAGEM, GPS and DIY as words. They are not. (Sagem is the name of a French company and GPS is an acronym while DIY is shorthand for Do It Yourself.) So this game needs to reconsider its dictionary file. We used a Scrabble dictionary to find words which stumped us - and still got stumped. What about advertisements? When connected to the Internet, an advertisement will appear every 3 or so levels. This game uses a cloud save feature over local storage. So if you enter airplane mode to play, remember to connect before you close out the game to keep your progress. Any objectionable material? You have to really go deep to find anything objectionable in a word sorting game. Words like SHIFT can be rearranged to have a naughty word shown. While the word is not counted as an acceptable word, or even a bonus word, some parents would be bothered if their young child accidentally saw it. So what is the bottom line? Is this a worthwhile game? As word puzzle games go, this is not a bad game - but with the aforementioned caveats. Just be warned that this game may frustrate you at times.

Far Future Fracas was offered between May 20, 2024 and June 3, 2024. Reinforce-Mint was offered between May 20, 2024 through June 17, 2024. This video showcases the MINT plant - REINFORCE-MINT Reinforce-Mint will knock all zombies back 1.4 tiles when planted. Reinforce-Mint will activate the plant food ability of each Reinforce-Mint plant. Reinforce-mint consists of: • Aloe • Blockoli • Chard Guard • Endurian • Gumnut • Holly Barrier • Infi-nut • Pea-nut • Primal Wall-nut • Pumpkin • Sweet Potato • Tall-nut • Wall-nut • Bean Sprout Knocking back zombies 1.4 to 1.5 tiles is hardly worth mentioning - especially for a Mint. Now activating all Reinforce-Mint plant food abilities - that can be awesome. The problem is that there are so few desirable effects. Sure, the nuts get tougher. But in of itself, that will not eliminate any zombies. Only Pea-Nut has any real offensive capabilities. ~~~~~ What is Cooking Kawaii? ~~~~~ Cooking Kawaii is a time management cooking game with a sushi bar theme. ~~~~~ Is Cooking Kawaii Pay to Win? What about in-game advertisements? How many are there? How intrusive are they? Do you get anything for enduring them? ~~~~~ We've not encountered any mandatory ads. Watching advertisements will give the player temporary perks or in-game currency which can be used to upgrade the kitchen. This in turn will make levels easier. So far, we've not encountered any pay-to-win feel to the game. ~~~~~ Is There Any Objectionable Material in this game? ~~~~~ We have not found any objectionable material in this game. Although these days, we are sure someone somewhere may be offended by the use of a knife or the diversity aspects of the customers. ~~~~~ Is Cooking Kawaii fun to play? Is the game challenging? Is this game a grind? ~~~~~ After 15 levels, we are just beginning to get a feel for the game. We feel the challenging aspects are yet to come. Is this game a grind? Since this is a level-based game, the grind would come if levels needed to be repeated in order to obtain enough in-game currency to make necessary purchases. ~~~~~ What are the pros and cons of Cooking Kawaii? ~~~~~ Pros: Decent graphics. Children can learn the benefits of efficiency. Decent pace to the game. Cons: Game feels like it can get repetitive over time. While all games suffer from that trait, we feel that may start soon.. Jewel Charms and clones like this are a Match-3 game. Players make matches of three (3) or more to complete objectives. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ How does this differ from the other Match 3 games out there? The graphics are pretty. Combos of 4 or more give power ups. There are other variants that make this game interesting. Jewel Charms and its clones appear to be more of a campaign type game with options - free, advertising and real money. We will progress through this game as needed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Any objectionable material? As with many games, there is an attractive woman who guides you. While not objectionable in itself, there are some individuals who would not appreciate the reinforcing of negative female stereotypes. We have discovered that Jewel Planet and its clones are indeed the same game with very minor differences. It appears that one copied/stole the game from the original author, re-branded the game and have released it under their banner. We find this practice disgusting; and we do not know who the original author is. We've actually found four (4) games under the "Jewel" name. All these games can be found in the Google Play store so Google hasn't discovered any is clone of the other.

Aloe heals 400 hit points to the plant on its immediate right. (+50 healing per level except levels 4 and 8.) Aloe can heal every six (6) seconds. (-1 second on levels 4 and 8.) When given plant food, Aloe heals all plants in a 3x3 area around it. This effect happens every time Reinforce-Mint is planted. Commentary: While the obvious use case would be for plants like Wall-nut or Tall-nut, Endurian would be a nice plant as it damages zombies who eat it. Same with a powered up Murkadamian Nut. Chard Guard would be nice allowing for quicker regeneration of the leaves. Pumpkins would also be a nice plant as it would allow for some melee plants like Bonk Choy or Snapdragon to be better protected while being on the front lines. Bottom Line: Aloe's 75 + Pumpkin's 150 = 225 Sun * 5 = 1,125 Sun which is quite a lot to spend on defense. Aloe + Wall-nut = 125 which is not a bad block. Although Tall-nut costs the same and has many more hit points, blocks fliers and saves a column. We do not “hate” Aloe. It's not a bad plant. We just find the use case quite limited. The Beast Dungeon was offered between May 19, 2024 through May 25, 2024. This video shows the completion of the Undead Dungeon for May 2024. Each dungeon lasts one (1) week and consists of three (3) levels which must be completed as a gauntlet. No swapping of leaders or troops is allowed and must be completed by a leader of the faction of the week. Completing the dungeon allows for Army Upgrades which allows certain minis in certain spots to gain up to three (3) levels. Warcraft Rumble was released on November 3, 2023. Based on the World of Warcraft cast of characters, Warcraft Rumble is a miniature 4X game where each round lasts no more than four (4) minutes. This game is designed to be played on a mobile device and does require an internet connection, although it does run quite well in an emulated mode on a personal computer. Bucking the trend of most mobile games, Warcraft Rumble has NO ADVERTISING! We appreciate this trend by Blizzard. That said, they do have a store for micro-transactions. After all, the bills need to be paid somehow. We'd rather have a store than the constant barrage of annoying, intrusive and data-sucking advertisements.

What is Emoji Guess Challenge? Emoji Guess Challenge is a game where a word is given and the player complete the word using the supplied emojis. It makes more sense once you have done a level or two. Is there any objectionable material? This game has no objectionable material. At least that any reasonable person would find objectionable. What are the pros and cons of this game? Pros: Young children can play this game. People who are not thrilled about playing games but who can converse in emojis can have fun with this game. Cons: There is no soothing background music. That would have been nice. Some of these puzzles are puzzling. A skippable ad appears after every three (3) levels. What's the bottom line? Emoji puzzle games are definitely a change of pace from word games, puzzle games, Match 3 games and games based on some sort of violence. But that is all that it is. Adventure Capitalist is the 1st idle clicker game from Hyper Hippo. This game takes the idle clicker concept with the goal of making as much money as possible. This video shows the beginning of the Profit-A-Bowl event which ends on May 20, 2024. Since there is not a lot of time left in this event, we just wanted to get started and not worry so much about efficiency. As you would expect from a mobile game, there is advertising and micro-transactions. However, none of these were forced - just optional.

Knobsters is a game where the player rotates one knob 90 degrees clockwise. If a path can be made, the color of the receiving knob will change and that knob will be rotated and the cycle will continue until there are no more moves which can be made. This game has no advertisements. This game has no objectionable material. This game feels like a proof-of-concept project which was released. This game sorely could use a tutorial and simple levels so that the player can get a feel as to how to approach levels. Otherwise the player will just randomly turn knobs and hope for the best. Strategies like when to abandon a color and go to another one. Is there an ideal way to maximize knob turns? How should one approach a block where all the knobs are locked into themselves and not easily accessible from the rest of the group? This game has no background music. Unlike Angry Birds where the player launches birds using a giant sling, the player places explosives in strategic places and attempts to do as much damage as possible. ~~~~~ Is Boomland “Pay to Win”? What do you get for spending real world money? ~~~~~ We have not found any money transactions in this game. ~~~~~ Is there any objectionable material in Boomland? ~~~~~ If the player is comfortable with the idea of blowing stuff up, then nothing else in the game will be objectionable. ~~~~~ Is Boomland fun to play? Is the game challenging? Is this game a grind? ~~~~~ There are times when someone will have the desire to blow stuff up. There are times when someone wants a different kind of game to play. Boomland fits that description. Boomland can be challenging although we have found this game more frustrating than challenging. We do not mind learning and experimenting to clear a level. However when one is failing dozens of times, we believe the game may be frustrating. When we are failing dozens of times, we believe that the level is too difficult. ~~~~~ What about in-game advertisements? How many are there? How intrusive are they? Has background music. Cons: Very difficult game, especially in the early levels. While this game has a 3 level tutorial, this game could use a longer one to learn the nuances of the game. ~~~~~ Do you recommend this game? ~~~~~ If one played Angry Birds and got frustrated because one could not get the birds to do what was desired, this game eliminates that frustration. If one enjoys destruction-type games, this one will suffice. As far as children goes, we will leave that up to the parents. Adventure Communist is the 2nd idle clicker game from Hyper Hippo. The first was Adventure Capitalist. Heroic Missions are unlocked once the player has completed the requisite fifty (50) levels in adventure mode - through Tier 10 Map 5. In order to clear each Heroic Mission, each boss must be defeated by a leader from each faction. In other words, five (5) separate defeats. This is made more difficult as the mini levels for each boss is increased by ten (10), in addition to other unique effects that these bosses have. We show how to defeat each boss with each and every faction. When defeating a heroic boss, the player receives a major tome of the leader's faction.

We must note that there are difficulty levels in this game that are not readily apparent. There is a “gravity” feature which can be non-existent, pull tiles left, pull tiles right, pull tiles up, pull tiles down and pull tiles to the center. ~~~~~ What are the pros and cons of Connect? ~~~~~ Pros: Easy to play. Young children can play this game. Simple mechanics. Generous number of reshuffles granted - eight (8). At most, only two (2) shuffles are needed to clear a level. Cons: No soothing background music. No music at all. Only two (2) tile skins are given. One can watch an advertisement to unlock another tile skin or pay $0.99 to unlock all skins. No indication there is more to the game than repetitive levels. Would be nice to know that it exists. Bottom Line: This game could use some music. What is Trivia Master? Trivia Master is a game where the player is given a series of five (5) questions and must select the correct answer multiple choice style. Is there any objectionable material? This game has no objectionable material. Granted, we have not gone through all the trivia questions in the game; but we are reasonably confident there isn't anything offensive in the game. What are the pros and cons of this game? Pros: Large variety of categories to choose from. Thousands of questions in the database. While there is a good hint system which is encouraged, one does not need to use hints to advance through the levels - assuming the player is OK with failing and retrying the level again. Multiple choice system of selecting the answer. Cons: There is no soothing background music. That would have been nice. A skippable ad appears after every few levels. These questions definitely fit in the trivia section and not the general knowledge section. What's the bottom line? Fans of trivia will like this game with the thousands of questions in the database. Casual trivia players may enjoy testing themselves on categories which interest them. “Trivia is information and data that are considered to be of little value.” Some people enjoy such things. Others do not. Your enjoyment of this game will be based on how you view trivia. Bottom line - this game is OK.

D7 is a game where the player needs to strategically play 2x1 “pills” on the board in such a manner that each color can only touch its own color. When such a blob reach seven (7) or nine (9) in size, then the blob will disappear. So in this manner, this game is a combination of Tetris, Dominoes and Woodoku. This game has no advertisements. This game has no objectionable material. This game has no music; which is why you hear no sound during the game. This game feels like a proof-of-concept project which was released. We absolutely HATE saying this about any game. We want to support the developers and understand that coding and debugging games can be an arduous task. We have found some buggy elements which detract from the game. It's a shame too. This game could be good for children learning how a decision can have an impact. Do I purchase another table or do I hire another chef? Do I make the restaurant prettier or do I learn new foods? But there are so many ads and requests for ads that we simply can not recommend this game.
