I led my dad, Glenn, to the Lord shortly before he died. He was just 50 years old. The last time I saw dad, I again shared the Gospel with him (as I had been doing for days) and that afternoon he used the last bit of strength he had to squeeze my hand and say, "Amen, Amen." In his hospital room, Dad had given me his golf clubs and his guitar— all I had to give him was safe passage from this life to the next. Today on 31 October 2023, outside Queensland Parliament, I preached on how to be born again and shared how I helped my dad experience the 'new birth' just before he died. What is going on in Australia? AEC representatives are going into nursing homes to collect votes for the Voice referendum from dementia patients, without family members present! 73 year-old Elaine was there to witness it — she happened to be there visiting her husband. Purple balloons and a large, purple VOTE YES sign set up right in front of the elderly patients, as they were wheeled into the arts and crafts room to vote.
